When you light a candle, does it just smell nice or can it also carry meaning, intention, and a little bit of magic? For Chloe Allen, founder of Witch Crafts Corner, the answer has always been the latter. What began as making aromatherapy blends for herself and her family soon evolved into a business creating witchy, handmade crafts rooted in her pagan practice and a deep love for nature.
From soy candles inspired by the Wheel of the Year to eco-friendly spell jars, wax melts, and room sprays, Chloe’s creations are more than just products; they’re tools for connecting with the rhythms of the Earth and the energy of intention. We sat down with her (virtually via email) to learn more about her creative journey, challenges, and advice for other witchy makers.
So Here we go….
Q&A with Witch Crafts Corner

Q: What inspired you to launch Witch Crafts Corner and focus on making witchy, handmade crafts like candles and wax melts?
Chloe: I began making aromatherapy products for myself and family, experimenting with different scents. I’ve always loved being creative and making things with intention, so turning it into a business felt like a natural step. As a pagan Witch, nature and Wicca have always inspired me, so I began focusing on candles and melts that reflected that. Over time, our brand has grown, we now offer room sprays, essential oil blends, and spell jars/kits, with plans to expand further.
Q: What’s your creative process like? Where do you draw inspiration for your scents, designs, and magical themes?
Chloe: All of our scents are inspired by witchcraft and the Wheel of the Year. Each blend is carefully chosen with intention, whether it’s for a spell candle or to mark the change of a season. Our topped candles are decorated with herbs, crystals, and charms that connect to the holiday or spell they’re designed for.
Q: Why did you choose to make your products vegan and eco-friendly, and how do you source your ingredients?
Chloe: As a practicing pagan witch, the Earth holds deep spiritual significance for me. It was important to create a brand that reflected those values. Everything is vegan and eco-friendly, with sustainably sourced ingredients. For example, our soy wax is from certified deforestation-free crops, and herbs are locally sourced and dried by hand.
Q: Which of your products are the most popular or meaningful, and why do you think they resonate with your audience?
Chloe: Our Wheel of the Year soy candles are by far some of our most popular. They give people an easy, thoughtful way to celebrate the turning of the seasons. Whether placed on an altar or just used to bring seasonal energy into the home, they’ve become a special part of our customers’ celebrations.

Q: Can you share a memorable customer story?
Chloe: One of our repeat customers bought our deep sleep pillow mist and found it made a huge difference in her sleep. She loved it so much she tracked us down at a market when we were out of stock online so she could buy one for her mum too. Moments like that really remind me why I do this.
Q: What challenges have you faced running a small witchy craft business, especially with sustainability in mind?
Chloe: Packaging is a big one. It’s tricky to balance being eco-friendly while still protecting fragile products during shipping, and keeping costs affordable for customers. I spent a lot of time researching how to ship securely with minimal materials, and I’m proud we’ve been able to do it without raising prices.

Q: Do you offer workshops, collaborations, or seasonal collections?
Chloe: Yes! I co-host Witch Crafts Workshops with Abi from Moonlight and Rosewood. We run seasonal workshops where people use natural, locally sourced materials for crafts like wreath and broomstick making, always tied into the Wheel of the Year. We’ve got more collaborations in the works too!
Q: What advice would you give to other creatives in the witchcraft/spiritual community who want to start their own handmade craft business?
Chloe: Trust your vision. When I first started, I watered down the witchy elements to try and appeal to more people, but it meant the products didn’t resonate with anyone. Once I rebranded and leaned fully into my niche, everything changed. My sales grew, and I started attracting the right customers who connected with what I was making. You can’t please everyone and you don’t need to.
Q: Finally, how can readers follow your work or purchase your creations?
Chloe: You can find us on Instagram @witchcrafts.corner, shop our products at witchcraftscorner.square.site, and grab tickets for our workshops at witch-crafts-workshops.square.site.
